London Life Drawing/Esprit/RCA Teaching event

Last night I taught a workshop  in collaboration with Esprit / RCA / London Drawing Fashion launch event.

Groups of Fashionista guests were being shown walked around the store to try their hand at 10 minute art workshops: I was tutoring on the vintage style paper doll table, inspiring people to come up with new print/colour ideas for the outfits on their doll.

An extremely fun, inspirational evening!

Salty and Peppy.

I bought these adorable salt and pepper shakers at a vintage shop in Nottinghill last week, they are a birthday gift for my friend but I’m sure I’ll be incorporating drawings of them into my work at some point.

‘Surreal Fashion Dolls’- development.

I  was shortlisted down for an interview in the prestigious ‘Debut Contemporary’ Art gallery based in Notting Hil and was delighted to find they want to exhibit my ‘Surreal Fashion Doll Collection’ I’m going to develop the drawings and create several more and in the New Year start to look for sponsorship from Fashion Houses (with the possibility of creating pieces to promote their collections).

I found the most enjoyable collection to work on as I  just let my imagination run wild, a true artistic flow…………..
