Month: October 2016
I will be facilitating a free workshop in which yow will get to create your own vintage inspired Artwork, followed by a solo P.V. of my work
All levels welcome, it is a fun, therapeutic, experimental activity in which you will be left with your own Doll/character artwork, which you will be able to take home….
The workshop will be held between 5-6pm on Thursday 10th November at Rosetta Art Centre and will be followed by a private view of my work between 6-8pm.
Please see Facebook for further details.
I’m over-the moon to be in the finals for the International Hand & Lock prize for embroidery 2016.
The live-judging and prize-giving is on the 3rd November at Bishopsgate Institute, please book tickets here
It promises to be a fantastic, gripping night, not to be missed by artists/designers as the networking possibilities will be immense! and it would mean the world to have your support.
have finished first animal alphabet letter…A for ‘Alpaca’
My aim is to complete one or two animal letters per day and post on here….and in two/three weeks have a complete A3 Alphabet print (individual letters make wonderful children’s gifts or I can pop letters into names).
I want to create an animal alphabet print…I’ve barely had time to breathe the past couple of months with the Hand & Lock prize for embroidery finalist round, starting my MA and teaching.
Last night and this evening I put some time aside to make a start and I’m aiming to be finished in good time so the prints are available before Christmas.
Meet a happy little letter A for Alpaca (colour and letter to come ;))
