Vintage Dolls ‘SOLD’

Posted on

Just sold x2 of my babies from the ‘Vintage Doll’ series to a lovely collector through Rosetta Art centre (£885 pair)
Thank you X X

I’ll be paying ‘Pollock’s Toy Museum’ a visit later in the year to create some more to join the family/collection.
Pollock’s Toy Museum was the place that first inspired 19 year old me to start drawing dolls….so you could say it was where it all began!
Two of the dolls sold to collectors in Kensington last year….only two left for homing

A ceramic ‘Toybox’ for adults

Posted on

I’d like to consolidate all of my design ideas (from my present sketchbook) into one large piece to create an eclectic, kitsch ceramic box (like a toy box but to serve as a trinket holder for adults).
The illustrations on the outside will serve as a visual diary which capture everything which inspires me from vintage dolls and florals to kitsch, childlike puppy illustrations.
This keepsake box will be used to hold treasured items of sentimental value, reminiscent of childhood memories and nostalgia….

Abstract Dolls

Posted on

I wanted to challenge myself to create a series of abstract paintings…as an Artist with and illustrative style I felt it would have an exciting result.

I’m delighted with how the first one has come out, obviously I worked from one of my former doll pictures, but this one tells a whole new story…

NHS Artwork commission

Posted on

Here’s a sneak peak at an NHS commission I’m currently working on, which will go on display in Kentish Town Health Centre Baby & Conference room.

I was approached after my solo exhibition as the trustees especially liked my Interactive Wallpaper Project, (which was held in aid of Breast Cancer Care and Beating Bowel Cancer).
