Farrow & Ball
Saturday was my ‘Interactive Art Event’ in aid of Breast Cancer Care & Beating Bowel Cancer (this was the second I’ve held to develop the wallpaper).
The day was an enormous success (even more so than my last in September) Debut Contemporary Gallery was buzzing with people of all ages wanting to be involved with developing the Art piece, the colours from the Chilli installation by Toni Gallagher shone down on the wallpaper from above giving the window space at Debut a warm, cosy feel and the Farrow & Ball paints complemented the Breast Cancer Care & Beating Bowel Cancer pink balloons beautifully.
I aim to hold one more to complete the wallpaper; it will then be exhibited and sold with all profits being split between charities Breast Cancer Care & Beating Bowel Cancer.
I want to say a huge thank you to the Representatives of Beating Bowel Cancer for coming along and getting involved with the painting, Farrow & Ball for so kindly supporting the event by donating the paint, fellow Artist Susana Lopez for helping organise the event and taking wonderful photographs of the day and Debut Contemporary for all their help and giving me this opportunity.
Due to the resounding success of my last interactive Art event on September 14th, I’ve decided to hold another on 23rd November 13 to complete the wallpaper before it is auctioned in aid of Breast Cancer Care & Beating Bowel Cancer.
Here are the fabulous photo’s from the charity Interactive Art event last Saturday:

Yesterday was a wonderful day with a great deal of people coming into Debut Contemporary and leaving their mark on my Interactive Wallpaper, I also held a raffle which participants were given a ticket and made a voluntary donation into the ‘Beating Bowel Cancer’ collection pot – people gave very generously and the wallpaper looks fabulous!
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and decorated the wallpaper, Farrow & Ball for donating the paints also Lush & Paperchase for supplying the raffle prizes.
My next step is exhibiting the wallpaper and then it will be auctioned with all profits going to both charities.
Here’s the completed wallpaper with the male characters on (I have added some colour/detail for inspiration) but they are free to be adorned however you choose…….
Here is the Press Release with details of the exhibition, I will be adding to it as we go along, hopefully adding the sponsors and exciting information for the big day.
Farrow & Ball are very kindly donating some beautiful coloured paints to be used onto the wallpaper.
Over the next few days I’ll start creating a series of drawings, I will show a new one daily on my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Veronica-Rowlands-Artist/159670667450279?ref=hl and give one away everyday to people who share their cancer stories, with the aim of providing a support network by people whose lives have been affected by cancer.
