Friday was my last ‘Stress Busting Colouring workshop’ at CGP Gallery, In which I have run six workshops altogether (one every Friday during the school Summer holiday period).
I created a new roll of Interactive Wallpaper for these workshops in which families have been dropping into the gallery to add their mark to……..What a wonderful few weeks it has been! the development has been mapped onto the wallpaper as it’s grown, becoming brighter, flamboyant and even chaotic in places….I LOVE IT!
Please keep an eye out as I have been discussing some exciting fundraising plans with the people at Beating Bowel Cancer this wallpaper is just the start.
I’d also like to say a huge Thank you to all of the adults and children who came along and contributed to the wallpaper, you really have brought it to life!
I have some exciting Art Fundraisers in the pipeline: I’ve been working on a second roll of ‘Interactive wallpaper’ which I will be exhibiting at Free Space Gallery (along with the original) in February 2015.
On Saturday 28th I will be at the Bermondsey Carnival with my new wallpaper roll (Stall S14) – the lovely people at CPG Gallery have kindly offered to share their stand with me: Come along and add to a unique Artwork which will eventually be sold in aid of Beating Bowel Cancer & Breast Cancer Care.
This was the last ‘Interactive Art Event event which was held at Debut Contemporary: https://missvdesigns.wordpress.com/2013/11/25/interactive-art-event-in-aid-of-breast-cancer-care-beating-bowel-cancer-2/
On Wednesday I saw one of my ‘Surreal Fashion Doll’ series up at CPG Gallery for the first time: http://www.cgplondon.org/– where it is being exhibited as part of the Annual Open #29.
The Exhibition finishes on Sunday 1st December so I strongly recommend going along for a look; it is a wonderful exhibition showcasing over 350 Artists work, with a hugely diverse range of styles and mediums.
