New super cute, illustrated, laser-cut and delicately hand-painted Christmas decorations created by myself and my dear friend and fellow designer Ani Passarelli, available in our Etsy shop.
This set is the only one like it we’ve made this year, so it’s completely unique…
I have been collaborating with talented fashion and graphic designer Ani Passarelli to create a new lifestyle brand (I’ll be telling you more tomorrow) but have a sneak peek at our vintage inspired colour-in dolls and how we’ve been adorning ours.
They make a wonderful stocking filler for children or an artwork for adults.
Putting together Illustration series for my MA research project, focusing on androgyny, 20’s and the Flappers.
Flapper’s up the Empire State Building….
A walk in the park……(note the matching coats which have been inspired from 1920’s lift from Selfridges.
A little pet cushion commission I completed for a dear friend to give her husband on Christmas Day….featuring beloved doggie pet “Godfrey” to go with the cushion of her gorgeous Persian cat ‘Sooty’.
The ‘Godfrey Dog’ cushion was made using colour and pattern to compliment the vintage floral background of ‘Sooty Cat’….I think they look delightful together….
I’d like to consolidate all of my design ideas (from my present sketchbook) into one large piece to create an eclectic, kitsch ceramic box (like a toy box but to serve as a trinket holder for adults).
The illustrations on the outside will serve as a visual diary which capture everything which inspires me from vintage dolls and florals to kitsch, childlike puppy illustrations.
This keepsake box will be used to hold treasured items of sentimental value, reminiscent of childhood memories and nostalgia….
Constant visits to the quirky little Vintage clothing and bric-a-brac shops in Bristol are starting to go to my head……..
My first attempt at ceramics….bird tiles inspired from Vintage Doll attire and wallpaper….I’m rather happy with how the colours have come out!
Here’s an image of a special one-off wedding gift piece I had made into a cushion for a very special friend…featuring her beautiful, beloved Persian Kitty ‘Sooty’ also a vintage inspired floral background to compliment her fabulous interior taste x
This little Birthday card design is ideal for anyone like me who feels retro, kitsch designs have more character than anything else in the whole universe…..
Like father, like son….
